You'll be here for the 2028 Olympics

LA hosts the Summer Games July 14–30, 2028: the city’s third time, after 1932 and 1984.

And it’s right next door. The Coliseum, right down the street from campus, co-hosts the Opening Ceremony, closes the Games, and hosts track and field the first week.

USC’s already in it. A research team out of Viterbi and Price is modeling how to move millions of people through the city during the Games without gridlocking all of LA.

Tickets are moving too. LA28’s Visa presale runs July 29–31, with another drop August 10–20. This round’s registration has closed, but more are coming.

Two years out, and it already feels close.
