Your USC Student Health Fee and health insurance are separate; the Student Health Fee generally covers visits at USC Student Health, including primary care and mental health services.
If you need care outside USC Student Health, your USC Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP/Aetna) or your own approved insurance plan generally comes into play.
Fall 2026 SHIP waiver deadline: September 11, 2026.
